About this grade
HonestBind VA 3520 is a concrete bonding agent in the classic sense: brushed or sprayed onto cured concrete, it stays aggressively tacky so fresh mortar, render, or screed keys into the old surface instead of delaminating at the cold joint. Used as a gauging liquid it plasticizes cementitious mortars and boosts adhesion and flexural strength.
The high tack is by design — this grade should never be specified where a tack-free film is expected. It is formaldehyde-free and tolerates the high pH of cement systems. For trowel-applied slurries and vertical work, the high-viscosity twin VA 3520 M holds film thickness without slump.
